Composite Fillings

Benefits
- Minimizes cavity development
- Solution for cracked, chipped, and decayed teeth
- Matches the color of your natural teeth
In order to fill a cavity, the tooth decay must be removed. Your dental specialist will be numbed with a local anesthetic to alleviate the pain. The decay is removed with a high-powered drill to go deep into your tooth. After the decay is removed, the tooth will be filled with the composite filling resin. The composite filling is hardened into place with a low-density light.
